Back in the early days of Ebay, I remember shopping at thrift stores for coveted teak Danish modern salt and pepper shakers that I could purchase and then sell for more.  But then, just like fostering an animal, I wanted to KEEEEP them :) Even though I didn't adopt any of my finds, I love making art that I can display showing items that I long to own without the need for lots of storage or display room. This piece can make your kitchen or dining space really make a statement!
